Thanks for the intro, baw4. Which is your favorite of Cicero? De Off. is probably my favorite whole work because its moral teachings are so reasonable. I like how C. spells out what the virtues are (precisely), shows examples of them, and explains what actions they require (e.g. duty may req tyrannicide). Sometimes, it amazes me how much the Ancients could learn thru reason, even without Scripture. Cicero is just one more witness for Romans 2:14-15.
